In essence, while an audio echo effect involves replicated versions of the original audio being produced at regular intervals with alterations such as decreased volume, a midi echo, being digital in nature and primarily utilizing low-resolution 8-bit formats, revolves around the manipulation of midi note on & off messages to steer synthesizers and similar equipment.

Functioning independently on midi note-ons from note-offs, this application replicates the release of note-ons when note-offs are triggered. This replication encompasses pitch intervals and other parameters, even if adjustments have been made within the user interface controls.
